Season of Easter
through two opened church doors
yellow poui blooms
family and friends gather
goodbye to one departed
lengthening days--
six PM and still
bird whistles
fastened at side-walk booths
brightly coloured kites
holiday time but
today bathers shy away—
raging waters
a resurrection sermon
the sound of cooling rain
