An article sent by Gillena Cox: Choc'late wins hearts by fasting against crime. A Haibun: Choc'late

Our Galleries!!!!!

Ed Baker's Gallery is Outstanding! Haiga: Rainy Night, Full Moon, Orchid 1, Orchid 2

New to our Gallery is Jeffrey Woodward. His haiga have a traditional artistry and haiku combined. . .
Haiga: Snowman, Clamshell, Dead Letter, Morning Glory

We may need to develop divisions for our galleries according to genre and style.

Gillena's Haiga-Reku is amazing!! it is like abstract Paleolithic arrangements of stone and color Or are these cloud dreams. She begins her renku with the Dawn, sun edging the background as if it is just behind the cloud waiting to emerge or the dawning of art in civilization—the morning of Carnival. If you will use the bottom arrows to move from page to page of the renku, it tells the story of the culture and meanings behind the actions. It is very well done and so very creative!

Thank you to Judith Giorgone for sending information and a link to Ashes and Snow.  This multi-media presentation is inspiring.

A.D. Winans has just survived a fire at his home in San Francisco, that has left him without a home until the repairs are made. So many of his papers, books, memoirs were burned. Editors and others have begun to send him the copies they have of his works, that were destroyed, so much is irreplaceable. He says he is staying with relatives.

A poet remembers A.d. Winans' kind hospitality. Jeffrey Woodward joined the us recently and realized he knew A. D. from years ago. Read about it here.
Jeffrey WoodwardA Haibun: Hotel Metropole

We are pleased to announce that Sketchbook Poets are participating in a Spring Kasen with John E. Carley, as Sabaki of Spring Renku l. There are many poets who want to learn Renku; we had enough poets for three renku. I am leading Renku ll.

John Carley has introduced a new template by Irish Poet - Norman Darlington: Triparshva.

Well, these are just a few things for the holidays of February. The poets have written in many genre. I think you will enjoy this issue of Love to All People.

Thank you all!!!
