Dear Fellow Poets, Painters,
Photographers, Musicians and other Artisans:
I am writing to you regarding the North Beach 2009 Poetry
Festival.
The dates will be Thursday and Friday, May 21 and May 22,
2009, from noon through 4:00 p.m. The venue for this special
event will be held at the Bocce Cafe' (The Old Spaghetti
Factory), which is located at 478 Green Street, up a bit from
Grant Avenue.
There are 10 places in which to
hang (no nails) and display your work.
Tables will be supplied by the venue.
Each artist will be expected to
pay $20.00 per day (to help defray some of the costs
involved). Each artist will keep all profits from any sales of
her/his work. I will, as usual, do the promotion. I'm looking
for ideas re: the master poster, which will be hung and
distributed throughout North Beach.
First to respond to this email,
first to be scheduled.
The format will be musician,
poet, musician, poet.

There will be a $5.00 donation asked for at the entrance.

I hope you will decide in favor
of participating in this unique North Beach tradition by

Volunteers welcome! Bocce Cafe' serves delicious food, drinks,
and first-class service.
