Hello !

Another month and we meet again. It is a full issue. Thank you to Betty Kaplan for the beautiful watercolor art on the cover and to Jerry Dreesen, for his Bi Polar Study.

We have some new announcements:

A. D. Winans heads our "Audio Poetry" at Sound st. Tracks.

It will be a series of Six-Pack Audio Readings. Thank you A. D. Winans for my goal of making Audio Readings accessible to the vision impaired. These poems and mementos of growing up in America throughout the last century are undeniably a part of the fabric and history of San Francisco and the changing times of the turmoil of youth from generation to generation.

Here is the link to # 1/Earspank no. 5!  There are seventeen poems on this CD. It comes in a Jewel case, with B/W signature insert of John Lee Hooker / Jazz Musician and A.D. Winans. What a way to begin an audio series--a poet and a renouned Jazz Musician.

The original print is in color and will be available in a Limited Numbered Edition.

Our haiga section is growing and extending its limits with wonderful work by: Pris Campbell, US; Melinda B Hipple, US and Mike Keville—Collaborative HaigaMaya Lyubenova, BG—Visual Shape Poetry and John Martone, US—Collages and Rubbings

Another fine job from our Mentor/Artist Saul Bernstein, California.
His teachings are innovative and inspiring. He is working on a presentation for the Sketchbook from the Idaho Dance Co. soon to come.

Hortensia Anderson is back ! We all love her.

an'ya has another fine Japanese haiga.

Our living tribute to Ed Baker is simply amazing! A creative talent, that has softly moved through the times, with concrete poetry, Haiga,  picture poems
too numerous to list. Here is the link: Ed Baker Tribute
