Another month and
the submissions seem to get better and better!
I enjoyed reading every one of them. The growth of each poet is
amazing. The Sketchbook Cafe is finally almost ready to post.
We have been developing the Sketchbook ChildWriter's. Some good things in the plans. So for the people who have
submitted work for that section, be patient, it will all be
there within the next month.
We are also now experimenting with different printers/publishers
and POD's to see which is the best way to go with the
Individual Sketchbooks. These will be made for all
the poets—their
work collected from each past issue. To participate in this
project, each poet would need to be published in the
Sketchbook on a regular basis.
If you want to eventually have your own bound Sketchbook
of your work you need to have participated for at least six
months, in a variety of genres. Multimedia will only be produced
in POD formats.
We need about five more days in a month, I think that would do
it .:)
We will be adding a Mail Bag as some have requested; in the next
few days we will develop a protocol for submitting your views
/suggestions/ and comments on the work individual poets / and or
poems.
We will provide a list on that page of "Contact Your Favorite
Poet". We are considering Poet of the Month, which would require
a minimum of three genre, submitted.
Please, this is YOUR Sketchbook, so send in any
suggestions and problems you are having in navigating. The
Sketchbook II, OutlawPoets is in the development
stage presently. So be patient there. We will design a more
navigable contents page.
Mark Savage, The Poet's Photographer is compiling a book and he
would like any poets interested in participating to contact him—see the contact
information
on his page.
Make sure you click on the link
www.soulsandpassions.com and you will see some fantastic
photos of the Poets from L. A. We will be adding information
about each poet to this section. These pictures were taken in
the early nineties; see if you recognize some of them from now.
I looked at every single photo as Mark has captured the essence
of each poet. Each one a composite of the poet.
Check out Helen's information from Israel—what
a talented and creative woman she is—
I love her!
Audio !!! I have some programs now, I am in the process of
converting a poet's readings into a CD/DVD.
This has been a learning experience for me. The support
materials say we can do Podcasts, etc. with this program so
another adventure in the process.
Again thank ya'll !!!
Best Wishes. Karina...
