In 2009 Sketchbook with be published bi-monthly: February, April, June, August, October, and December.  The publication date for each issue is the last day of the month.  Submissions are due on the 20th of the month of publication.

The December 2008 Sketchbook Cover Artist is Doris Kasson, US with a haiga entitled winter solstice.

Rengay Through The Seasons by Vaughn Seward featuring rengay numbers fourteen through eighteen of the year long rengay project hosts guest writer Yvonne Myers.
