Book Fair
This month three
new additions to the Book Fair are worthy of note. The Poetic
Image: Haiku and Photography edited by Alan Summers and Roger
Brown is a 48 page collection of photographs and various haiku
forms. I spent about two hours reading from this delightful
collection of 31 international poets and photographers. I plan
to return to this well presented book. Published by Birmingham
Words pamphlets, the collection is available for
free download.
Gillena Cox has published her first book of haiku,
moments.
Helen Bar-Lev has published Cyclamens and Swords. Poems and
illustrations - Helen Bar-Lev Poems - Johnmichael Simon. In
this book Bar-Lev and Simon explore the theme of a land which
seems to symbolize the eternal quest for harmony where forces
of turmoil march ceaselessly.
