Haiku & Senryu

Robert Davey, UK

winter sun
grazing the path—
stones bleed shadows

sporadic pebbles
of rain on glass—
walled garden

autumn—
the applause
of leaves

  doves
veering
  toward
      the dawn
            ignite

cleaning our teeth...
wind hurries
through willow leaves

blooming
from text—
pressed flower

hot pavement—
woodlouse crossing
on tiptoes

still in the bathroom
her toothbrush—
turned away from mine

double decker
lurching into sight
I shift my weight

windscreen sprayed—
the deer's fur damp
in the mist

among leaves
dipping in the rain
a robin

door opening—
flies tremble
in the web
