Haiku
spring rain
cupped
in a crocus
midday hum—
a funeral car
and early bees
spring
sleet—
endless swathes
of chainmail
the
seamless flow
of sea to sky
...her surprise at twins
full moon
on my wall
shadow play
morning dew
a thrush singing
between pecks
French
placement year
the clack of boules
on the avenue
arachnaphobia...
she jumps at the shadow
of her spider plant
wind ripples...
meeting up again
with the hermit crab
