Haiku
growing
twilight...
against the setting sun
a dog lifts leg
empty
cathedral—
in the growing twilight
organ's breath
morning walk—
the spirit of the wild grasses
rides my dog
for seconds
among bugs and butterflies
a flying dog
walk in the
hills—
after a sudden shower
the dog's tail recurls
Miss
Mongrel
hiding her nose under her tail
under the Christmas tree
Miss
Mongrel
even stealing, she does it
gracefully
