the clack of boules
on the avenue
arachnaphobia...
she jumps at the shadow
of her spider plant
wind ripples...
meeting up again
with the hermit crab

Marion
Clarke is a writer and artist from Warrenpoint in
County Down, Northern Ireland and is a member of the Irish
Haiku Society. She has been studying and writing haiku for
several years and has had her work published in Notes
