Blue Orb Lady

cloaked in your greenery
stars twinkle around you
robes bejeweled with Oceans bounty
Grace this planet with your Love

five woven balls

three green garlands
two angel wings
one shining star
and …..


an
angel
announcing
a   new   dawn
has    been    born
and it shall be named

The Competition

 

The rules were very simple.
They just needed to create
A decoration using,
Organic material
For the School Competition
"An eco-friendly Christmas"
The best one would be displayed
On the School Notice board.

The children decided on
An angel decoration,
The flapping wings were made of
Birds’ feathers lightly tinged
With vegetable colors,
The hair silk from corn cobs,
The body was a dry palm branch
And the face a blue cookie.

Their originality
Won them many accolades
