Into the Fall

....a closet full of summer
and winter, can swing either way
at this betwixt bewitched time of year

one day hot
and another cool
emotions follow
confused and chaotic

a rollercoaster ride into fall

Samhain is on the way
the veil is parting
I hear, dream, touch
those who have passed
they call out to me now
because they can
and oh
how i hear them

....in the wind as it rushes
through the palm fronds
in the dew drops...falling
off the trees

night grows longer
as day goes away
moon comes to rule
in Its own mystical,
magical, mysterious
ways.......

Spirits are about
as the pumpkins
appear on doorsteps

trick or treat
the familiar chant
as dark takes
over the light

time for angst and
blues...to be my muse
how i thrill
to the slow
sensuous beats

as i dance a lone tango
into the fall
