Ruminations of the Poet

i am such an idiot that sometimes when i finish a painting and it seems perfectly finished and okay, it hangs around in my brain and will not leave me alone until i get it out and change it... sometimes that takes years... in this case it took about a month... the first state of the painting is dated august... the final or current and hopfully final state is the october one.... did i make the painting better??? well, maybe maybe not... it is definately darker and i was a bit depressed and out of sorts lately... so who knows but it seems finished now... i hope it is because i don't want to work on it any more... so here are both versions... the august painting no longer exists... hmmm...
