Descending the
stairs we leave that awesome ultramodern building NAPA. The
comedy was relaxing, the play ended on a surprise note, we
discuss between our selves. However, since the play ended
earlier than we calculated, we have to wait about forty-five
minutes for our scheduled pickup guy. The trees remain unruffled
in the cool breezes.

We are at the
supermarket, my daughter and I. I place my handbag in the
smaller compartment of the trolley securely within my grasp.
Pushing the trolley, reading the list, reading the shelves. My
daughter takes over the trolley so I meander a little away from
the trolley. Returning with a handful of packs of peanuts.
There's my trolley and there's some man just about to push it.
"That's my trolley," I say, smiling sweetly, "Oh, I'm sorry, I
thought it was mine." He smiled even more sweetly. So I'm once
again pushing my trolley, but now looking for my daughter. She
is just a few steps away in between shoppers. I whisper to her
my handbag is on the trolley, stay with it.
