Madonna

 

Fire flames surreal lighting the sky
Clouds glow amber inside streaked morn
Orange burst valleys rise in pursuit
As from embers Madonna is born

Tresses in jet sweet frame her face
Reverent eyes quiet closed in prayer
Kissing the mountains in spiritual peace
She blesses and spreads love to share

Her soul embraces mauve lavender fields
And bathes in divinity kissed with red
Golden hues reflecting from fields of corn
God given light that she needs to spread

Enchanting images embrace my eyes
From the fantasy that I wish to see
A world of splendour my soul has made
To indulge and then to set free
