Dressed in an impeccably tailored suit
He walked quite nonchalantly down the aisle
Less confidently she followed the same route

The congregation rose looking astute
To welcome them and admired his style
Dressed in an impeccably tailored suit

The overjoyed Bride's father played the flute
The groom entered their pew after a while
Less confidently she followed the same route

When the priest came the organ was on mute
The bride rose first and he stepped on the tile
Dressed in an impeccably tailored suit

The little ring bearers looked very cute
The groom read out each vow from the priest's file
Less confidently she followed the same route

Marriage vows once taken no one can refute
The groom kissed the bride and left in a while
Dressed in an impeccably tailored suit

Monkeys and the Plums

 

Plums
dangle
from
the trees
temptingly
Monkeys
swing
peeping
furtively
at the terrain
below them
to make
sure
no one
shoos at them
while they
eat
juicy
plums

 

 

*The Waltz Wave form, named for Leo Waltz, the Web Manager of Sol Magazine, asks for a one-stanza titled poem, with nineteen lines; each line has a set number of syllables.

Pattern: 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 1

Words may be split into syllables to fit the pattern. This form seems to educe a soothing cadence as the lines gently increase and decrease, so it is suggested that topic chosen for this form also be soothing.
