Prayer
His
picture stares
At me from the wall
Each time I am likely
To face a hard fall
I focus on that face
Resplendent with
both love and peace
And send out a prayer
"Dear Lord help me
Through this day
Let me not from
The right path stray"
Then I am almost
Sure to be able to face
Any trials and even
Tribulations with grace
