remembering you
only really a problem
right when i wake up
rain drips
from the trees

last month of our lease
the dragonfly’s shadow
at the bottom
of the pool i watch
the changing shape of things

between time zones
and memories
my thoughts travel
to each shade of gray
in the cloudscape

you followed me far
to be lonely, by my side
this wind in the palm leaves
sounds like rain
but isn’t
