Haiku
memories
relics of last summer's dam
glint in the stream
forest walk
scent of pine needles
threaded with rain
wine-dark
clusters
blackberries and bluebottles
gathering
autumn
winds
reaching out for mother
a child's cry
a moment
of the oak's time—
falling leaf
moorland mist
crows pick over the remains
of the night
autumn dawn
a sunflower
bows its head
water
lilies
on the still pond-your voice
in the darkness
after the
rain
opening a music box
of birdsong
