Rich Raspberry Red

My office has splatters of rich raspberry red
I grow them as love poems and nurture them with care.
Each treasured berry stirred in a muffin to spread
don’t enter my raspberry patch, please be aware.

I grow them as love poems and nurture them with care
they flush my mouth with a gush of sweet-sour juice.
Don’t enter my raspberry patch, please be aware
they tingle and tempt my heart not yours to seduce.

They flush my mouth with a gush of sweet-sour juice
they’re raspberry kisses so devilishly spiced.
They tingle and tempt my heart not yours to seduce
they blow bubbles ease troubles and preciously priced.

They’re raspberry kisses so devilishly spiced
they’re rose-purple flowers and deep forest moon rings.
They blow bubbles, ease troubles and preciously priced
they’re dumplings, dishy puddings and warmth cooking brings.

They’re rose-purple flowers with deep forest moon rings
they’re crimson with a blue touch yet pink when new flesh.
They’re dumplings, dishy puddings and warmth cooking brings.
they quiver and quake green when they’re ever so fresh

They’re crimson with a blue touch yet pink when new flesh
each treasured berry stirred in a muffin to spread.
They quiver and quake green when they’re ever so fresh
my office has splatters of rich raspberry red.
