Caribbean Kigo Kukai No. 15 "umbrella"   The Kukai - a haiku contest, where each person submits a haiku, and then, becomes a judge. When all the poems are compiled in a list, the contestants comment, vote, and give scores to poems of their choice. One cannot comment on, nor vote for one’s own poem. At the end of the voting process winners emerge, the selection based on votes by the kukai’s contestants.   Thursday, July 1, 2010: Caribbean Kigo Kukai # 15 Dear haiku friends you are invited to participate in The Caribbean Kigo fifteenth Kukai. The kigo is umbrella Send one haiku which includes the word umbrella e-mail to:  gillenacox@tstt.net.tt Example:- opened umbrella-- the laughter of two friends in pouring rain --gillena cox Deadline for sending entries is July 10th 2010 Deadline for sending votes is July 20th 2010 A voting list will be e-mailed to all players Voting: Votes to be scored using a total of 6pts Example:- Haiku#76………3pts Haiku#34………2pts Haiku#8………1pt   Send Votes to e-mail:  gillenacox@tstt.net.tt Comments: during voting are encouraged but must be limited to 3 lines; when published these comments and the votes will be given anonymous listings. Ballots will be sent to participants.
