Bouwe Brouwer, NL

Haiku

autumn wind
the slow tilting
of a floating candle

river fog
shaped by sounds
the other shore

autumn breeze
she sucks all the green
out of her Slush Puppie

drizzle
the distant lights
of the power plant

harvest moon
just above the snow
the thinnest twigs

snowstorm
the restless fly
in the airport bar

New Year’s Dawn
the dust
on the globe

the watery edges
of the thundercloud
birthday cake

higher again
his long solo
spring sun
