I Need You
I need you
to share the sky
divided into two halves,
give the drink to the earth
thirsty for love.
I need you
to obtain the light
for the rightful as well
and some new mornings to share.
On my knees I prey and swear off
by all that is dear to me
you touch me with your shadow
like a hidden seagull
absorbing me from the sandy shore.
The sea knows
this moment's magic
which the waves and salt cannot hide.
Are we indeed, ordinary sinners only?
Besotted with our own self
or is it the moment governing with the world.
I need you
to stroke the raindrops
over ruddy cheecks
and wake some new dawns
with a gaze of an innocent child.
