Tanka
wildflowers sway
in the breeze of a blue sky day
colors blend—
pastels on my palette
the earth’s Monet
my wooden swing
hangs on a crescent moon
I dangle
amid the stars—
a heavenly body
flickerings—
ghosts waltz about the room
energies
pass through me
their lives, films in my memory
stars twinkle
in the midnight sky—
portholes from heaven
I have to wonder...
which one is yours
crumbling wall
shored up by ivy—
I feel a stirring …
more than a border
lost souls linger here
springtime
we gather juicy berries
our tongues
savor sweet honeysuckle
and sometimes each other
