Shamrock is an
international quarterly online journal that publishes quality
haiku, senryu
and haibun in English, and has a home page at

This issue has an ample
selection of Slovenian haiku in English translation, as well
as an international section, an essay, haibun and book
reviews. Also, all the winning haiku from the IHS
International Haiku Competition 2009 appear in this issue. The

Shamrock Haiku
Journal is calling for submissions from local,
national and international haiku poets for the next issue,
which will be out in early March 2010. Please submit your work
to the editor at
irishhaikusociety@hotmail.com The deadline for
