Rolling
Sounds
a rolling can
on the street—
the zephyr's music
getting back home
the noise of the misty road
the train's whistle
disappears in the fog
along with the trails
going out
to get something to eat
the drumming rain
the sound of gutters
pouring down the slope
the wind carries away
all the sounds from the street
into an empty bowl

Among Various
Smells
the magazine
she used to kill flies—
biscuit recipes
opening her lips
the smell of sweet smoke
kitchen full of
utensils— where
to start from?
sniffing artificial flowers
on a birthday cake—
a demented lady
the spreading smell of meat...
a fox on the hanger moves
to go out or not—
the sweet buzzing of acacias
and granny's apple pie
Emptiness
lights on the lake
a swan crosses an empty
rowing line
a moth flits by
her coat full of holes
a cricket sings
in front of its burrow—
she didn't come
hard-of-hearing man
catches the last train—
slippery tracks
leaves adrift by wind fly
in the shimmering sky
running after a butterfly
the shoreline getting
longer and longer
