Charishma
Ramchandani: Born in Mumbai, India in 1980, I lived in the
land of Great Saints for just 6 months, before my parents took
me to the Sultanate of Oman which is in the Middle East. I
grew up on Arabian soil. After completing my Graduation, I
traveled to Orlando, Florida in the US but found it hard to
settle there. Thankfully, I spent my time creatively there
learning Numerology which helped me a long way and still helps
me and many others through me.
I moved back to
Mumbai, India in 2005. I lived for 2 years in Mumbai during
which time I learnt Tarot card reading, Pepromancy and various
other metaphysical sciences. I worked with many people
throughout this time. During my free time in the morning, I
would write haiku and I was often published and received
several cash prizes also. I used to write for the DNA
newspaper. It was amazing and I will never forget those days
of my life. My love for haiku had begun in 2001 and I don't
think I'll ever stop writing haiku.
On 12th April'
2007, I moved with my parents and brother to Pune, India. Pune
is a much quieter city than Mumbai. I moved here as I wanted
to take up pre-school teaching. I did my Montessori Teacher's
Training in 2007 and set up my own Nursery school in my
beautiful 8 bedroom bungalow.
Besides the
school, I also started Hobby classes for all age groups. My
students did very well for themselves. The little toddlers
speak English today so fluently and this makes me feel very
accomplished in my life. I also trained a few individuals who
wished to become teachers and didn't know how to go about it.
Today, they hold respectable jobs in well established
pre-schools of Pune. It makes me feel really special that I
have helped so many families through my skills and talents.
Good karma always comes back, I believe.
I love animals and
not one day of life would go when I haven't fed cows, birds,
dogs, etc. I thank my parents who always supported me,
especially my Mother. She is a great person in my life, a real
Goddess. Currently, I run my hobby classes and not the
pre-school. It keeps me very busy from dawn to dusk. I teach
kids and adults too from all walks of life. As the days roll
by, my belief in the Creator gets stronger and my love for
learning, sharing and growing as a global village continues to
grow!
