Orator

As we look at the human figure's shoulder
Does it evoke something much, much older
for its muscles and bones do it right now,
But what of its moment just before this,
In time in its heavenly oceanic abyss?

Is there something before the form that I see
Something that existed before you and me
Something that is much like quantum reality,
That is beyond our senses and mentality?

So this form in front of you is only one part
Of the total potential that it wishes to impart
To your eye and reasonable senses,
Ask them all, is it not their pretenses?
