Haiku
game of
hide-and-seek
from behind the poplar
crawls her shadow
between lightings
the growl
of my stomach
night bus
jasmine's fragrance is
my only company
night wind
lime blossoms glide
on the sidewalk
full moon
tu-whit tu-whoo
through leafless poplars
a flash of
lightning—
Christ on the wayside cross
cries
my old school...
the same urge
to scratch a bench
silent room
through the open window
a swift's cry
sunbeam
a brimstone butterfly crosses
the empty depot
