Haiku
between the mist
and the edge of the forest
a white buffalo
eyes meet...
across the dance floor
air dancing a slow song
Tanka
feeling
this free flowing
energy
a call across the mountain
echoes at the shore
rain falls
on the bamboo
wind chimes
sounds of Lionel Hampton
a mellow touch to the night
between the mist
and the edge of the forest
shapeshifting
a white buffalo thunders
and becomes one with the clouds
Free Verse
break/straight
with a smile
a lil' left
of the west...
outlaw poets
tiptoe thru the badlands
brandishing their pens
loaded with black ink
echoes of Jimmy's
writing fingers
bent at the break
ink stained
writing
in all the margins
Free Verse
blues
strangely beautiful
indigo clouds
electricity let loose
filling a hole
in the ozone
whispering/sizzling
charging/changing
blue-eyed twilight
creeping
up the mountain
bring "cool" words
to the poet tree
a song of sadness
shared alone
