He made a set of cards; this is Tony's signed card...
A Poem to Blow in Morning Coffee
Tony I found because of this internet...
the fifth wheel s.a. calls it
what a joy to hear his words again
we were to collaborate
on the LADYS of venice
he was on his way
and sent this collage
and brought me back
to the blank page
time to write on it again
over morning coffee
old wounds...
stopped the flow
before lift off
He passed away before he could get here...
and I planted the Poettree for him.
as Iz Kamakavivaole says in the song...
"Plant me a Koa tree don't you cry for me..."
He brought me back to writing and is with me...

tony scibella
he invents honky tonk
you can tell time by the way he dances
his address is the moment
the adventures of tony and s.a. in amsterdam
for all ages
black ace skyline
who's that masked man?
just tony
playing piano boogie
come, listen
he teaches dance
all the singing a human can be
his backbeat a yes.

Safe In Our Celler
tribute to Tony
Oh soft black night
of unheard prayer
the lady walks
and does not care
she does not know
your path that guides
nor does she hear
what darkness hides
cold and coatless
With windblown hair
The lady walks
her throat is bare
your darkest street
hides her fear
the open doorway
calls her near
enter in the warm lit room
the poets there
warm her bones
with words that care

"Ticket To Ride. . ."
Tony said
he got his ticket
to ride
get new shoes,
shirt and shots
what kinna shots?
he got.....
"hoof n mouth"
"jungle fever"
and "Gilligenism shot"
I think he got
"a shuck and
jive shot"Shanna Baldwin Moore

Raindog did for tony in New Mexico
