Haiku

overslept
the taste of coffee
on her tongue

the gents
somebody down the row
whistles the same tune

manequin`s jutting nipples
I suddenly realize
a draught

night out
looking for familiar faces
in a foreign city

traffic jam

my next door neighbors
begin to dine

museum exhibition
children notice
a spider

autumn moon
the bright face of my
sleeping daughter

late March
in each window
a different season

Shamrock Haiku Journal, issue 6)

sudden rain
my wife takes shelter
at the jeweler's
