Out-of-Space Detectives

Aliens
with egg-shaped heads
watch us the Earth-dwellers,
then take some to their ships for a
close look.

Last time,
they unclothed me
and checked all the body
openings, then returned me to
my bed.

Most hate
such intrusions,
but I am curious.
They do not know that I observe
them too.

These are
man-like, but short;
huge eyes, small mouth, no hair...
Next time, I shall bring back some more
hard facts.

Urgent Investigation

Private
eyes aren’t cheap, but…
I miss my canary.
Was it Doggie that let it fly
away?

Will it
be found? The cage
was latched, but the window,
open. Now Kitty looks somewhat
guilty…

I hope
the detective
will soon dig out the truth:
who, what, how—for I want back my
Tweety.

Cheaters®

Seven
detectives stalk
the man's untrue lover...
his heart of suspicion and hope,
waiting.

A Mystery Solved

The whole
household searches
for my misplaced glasses...
At last they're found
deep inside the
sofa.
