Hello to All!

What an exciting issue our Leap Day Issue is ! And we are on time :)

You will have to read EVERYTHING, as it is that good. Our Global Correspondents have some fascinating articles and remembrances! Don' t miss them.

Ron Moss has sent the cover and contents page art, as well as some creative visual poetry/haiga. He and Shiela Windsor have a beautiful collaboration "Window" ...They have been writing together for years and their work is always first class.

Saul Bernstein has sent Beethoven to us with an art article and a UTube , Do You Hear?

Anya has a new book out, so visit our Book Fair Pick for the Announcement.

Ed Baker has his Visku which he has been doing since the sixties and seventies/ as well as his Points Graphics.

Gerald England has Haiku Through the Seasons that will be ongoing, through the seasons :)

So many new writers to the OutlawPoets II thanks to RD. Armstrong, Raindog. He was brought to the Sketchbook by Shanna. He has sent some wonderful poets to be included in the NEW Sketchbook II OutlawPoets Magazine which we have separated to have its own issue.

Here is the Link: Sketchbook II

You will find duplications in the first issue between both magazines of some of the poets.....because we would like you to get to know them, so we have not quite let go of them from the main Sketchbook.

You will have to read this Sketchbook from ' cover to cover' as it is packed with information.

Aju Mukhopadhyay has just come back from the World Haiku Festival in Bangalore, India; read his report:
The Ninth World Haiku Festival, 23-25 February 2008

Jerry Dreesen has done some caricatures in the NEW OUTLAWPOERS ii MAGAZINE....   We will be including more of his work in the March Sketchbook.

Also a Tribute to Cid Corman will be in March Sketchbook, and Jerry's CidMic's Birds will be inlcuded there. It is in a tribute to Cid at Wikipedia by me.

Jerry's birds will be the fill in bio pics for those who do not send in their mug shot...smile...

We are getting the SKB Cafe ready now for fun itmes, logos, mugs, posters, and Sketchbook books...

That will be announced as soon as they make eight days in a week ! Just kidding, it will be here soon!

Love, Karina
