Hello to all!!

Each year we are all challenged with a new beginning. A new chance. An optimistic view.

I thank all that have become part of the Sketchbook and OutlawPoets Family.

It has been so very rewarding to see the same poets submit and expand into different areas of poetry and art, photography this past year.

So many talented people!

I have several new projects I will be announcing.
We will also be expanding our Global Poets.

I find the Correspondence from our Global Poets Outstanding! The goal is to inform us all about the everyday people and life of their countries. Love the Journal from Africa.

The quality of work you all put forth is awesome, it is what keeps me doing this month after month.

We have two branches of the Sketchbook coming into their own Sketchbook Journals: childwriter's sketchbook, and Sketchbook of an Outlaw II. The cover is being designed for that and hopefully will be completed by the next issue.

We have changed the look of the Sketchbook a little to reflect the look of the upcoming hardcopy journal.

Our Logo was designed by Judith Gorone, and we are still in the process of perfecting the colors and look of the issue itself.

In the past we have changed the color schemes monthly.

We do still need proof readers as we are cutting it on the timeline for each issue's presentation, the hold up being the proof reading.

We received some wonderful letters last month and still have not had a chance to create a Letters to the Editors Column yet. We are holding onto them all and will put them out in a month or two altogether.

Thank you to Charles Trumbull for his interest in the Sketchbook.

Denis Garrison has helped us to update the Cinquain section of our handbook, we hope to hear more from him in the Sketchbook!

I am probably leaving out many things, but want to get this up and online!!!

Love to All,

Karina
