Snowflake

Silver twinkles fancy flight
Nodding in the cold dark night
Opaque sky, fairytale fashion
Winter gray, unspoken passion
Fallen fairies dizzying display
Laughter melts the chill away
As the moon dances across the sky
Kisses are blown and caught with a sigh
Enchanting all, till the final cry

Evergreens catch them as they fall
Kids roll up a monster ball
Across the lake, ice exposed
Lilting skaters, juxtaposed
Friendly banter turns to clash
With pressed balls of alpine ash
Opened heart, a Christmas rose
Nippy breeze, a droplet froze
Settles on her tiny noze
