In December 2008
fifteen haiku poets from seven countries wrote sixty-two haiku
for the Sketchbook "dance" 2008 haiku thread.
Specific dances named in these poems included the golden
anniversary waltz, tango, ballroom dancing, salsa, waltz, rumba,
celestial dance, belly-dancing, rag, shadow dance, reggae,
skater's waltz, hip-hop, zouk dancing, gipsy dance, disco, zorba,
Viennese Waltz, Danube Valse, Boogie Woogie, parang dancing,
shag, dance recital. Such a colorful variety of motion and
sound.
