The Kiss
From across the distance,
I could feel her desire.
From out of the night,
came her soul’s fire.
From out of the night,
my spirit beckoned her.
From across the distance,
sweet emotions stir.
Within the Astral,
shadow selves reach.
Within the darkness,
passion to teach.
Within the darkness,
our caresses glow.
Within the Astral,
we kiss, deep and slow.
From across the distance,
within the Astral,
from out of the night,
within the darkness…
our spirits embraced,
our tongues took a taste,
our lips softly pressed,
our hearts were undressed…
for an instant, we loved;
for a moment, we lived;
for a second, sheer bliss;
for we shared, the kiss.

Rhapsody For Two
Moonlit
shadows dance with
us in the rose garden—
the cricket's grand symphony plays
all night.
Suspended Consciousness
Beyond
the flow of time:
my mind, a calico
cat purring at the window of
still thought.
Reading The Ashen Residue
for Adelaide Crapsey
Endless
gray tinged cloudscape
above the trees and grass,
chill breeze, and songs of life and death—
her Verse.
