leaf to leaf. . . a chameleon
changing on each landing

the old dog
chases his tail
the stagecoach arrives
wheels turning backwards
heels over head
somersaulting
across the lawn
all sorts of cries
the merry-go-round goes
faster and faster
wow! her skirt gets caught
in the revolving door
summer time
moving the hands of the clock
one hour ahead
