Lamps

We are lamps,
We twinkle in the world,
When we shall not be here,
There will hover darkness,
With us Diwali is celebrated,
Every temple, mosque or church,
Is lighted by us,
We are in crematorium,
We are in everybody`s life

*Diwali is a major hindu holiday celebrated by Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs across the globe as the "Festival of Lights".  During the "festival" people light deyas (small clay pots filled with coconut oil and a wick); the celebration signifies the victory of good over the evil within an individual, the uplifting of spiritual darkness.

You Were Mine

You were mine,
But you have been lost in the crowd--
Your hand was in my hand.
I was filling the colours in my deserted life,
That have long disappeared.
You were like rain in my desert
You were a dark cloud in my scorching life
You were a candle in my dark life
Where are you now?
You were mine

Existence

Hanging between what and when
We are losing our human existence,
Like smoke from a chimney,
Same ways, same goal.

Why we are becoming different?
Why are we running behind an illusion?
Why have we lost our love?

Love among mankind,
Think about our existence,
Save US!
