Dog days—
the cat shaking
his fleas
Cloud on sky.
Under fence, black cat
spying a sirloin…
a jump...
and the cat catches
the cricket
evening with
the moon—
in the grandma’s long chair
the purring cat
Autumn
Tanka
The moon is rising
among the leafless branches.
Only an eye witness: me.
Alone at the windows,
I remember you . . .
The cricket
singing
under the blade of grass.
Moonlight
over the old fence
invaded by lonicera.
Leaves
everywhere.
In the alder tree top
a crow croaking.
On the sky without clouds
looking for the Crescent moon.
Autumn dusk.
The full moon watching
in the maple tree.
Alone at the windows,
I remember you...
First frost...
Only the chrysanthemum
unshaken.
Near the Turkish jetty,
I wait for my lover.
At daybreak,
a few red leaves
under the collected pears...
Several swallows
in flight to the south.
memories…
in front of the church
at Eforie—
adorned with ivy
paternal house
Walk in the
morning—
in the grandmother's garden
the red apples ripen.
Above Magurice,
the sun is smiling.
only a hazel nut
on the swinging branch—
moon rise
tired, the grandsons imbibe
the boiled milk
The red
rosehips
among the pale leaves
and the dry branches...
Like mother’s embroidery
on the towel for tea...
Autumn end.
Under ice, leaves and flower,
above, the sky,
like a blue flower,
catches the eyes.
Cloud on sky.
Under fence, black cat
spying a sirloin…
“Fly, little sirloin!”
shouts, frightened, the child.
My grandmother
gives me
the largest red apple.
But when I awake,
no grandmother, no apple...
Only memories...
