Editor's Desk
As 2007 winds to a close there
is much to reflect upon. We have completed nine issues of
Sketchbook—six
of them this year—January,
February, September, October, November, and December.
My wife, Debbie and I have
completed a 1,000 plus mile move from Midwestern, Iowa to the
Sonoran Desert in Arizona. My wife and I closed our Iowa
residence where we lived from 1980 - July 2007. During that same
period Karina underwent some serious eye surgery.
We look forward to being able
to produce twelve consecutive issues in 2008.
I appreciate the steady flow of
quality submissions that Sketchbook writers send
us each month. Daily, I open my e-mail and there are almost
always some new compositions for us to consider for publication.
Thank you for choosing Sketcbook as a suitable e-zine
for the publication of your work.
I look forward to reading your
