Wildflowers
Swaying
Its house abandoned,
the garden has become home
to butterflies. /Sogi*
wildflowers swaying
across the old railroad tracks
bite marks still show
on the rusty stakes—
missing horseshoes
broken swing
at the forgotten playground
a seagull's cry
from other shores
bits of flotsam, no shells
train whistle
the old hermit
finds a new home
