and hot ginger tea
warming my hands

 

 

snow on mauna kea
cherry blossoms
cover the villiage below

at cherry blossom time
bright red fruit

 

 

a hush falling
over the villiage
drifts of cherry blossoms

 

 

windy morning
the sweeter
the blossoms

to think at one time
women couldn't vote..
and now a woman
is the speaker of the house
so sit down dubya

 

 

the young girl
talking back,
listens ...
with her mouth
instead of ears

 

 

wandering again
my son, looking
for the blue flash
a synapses
or short circuit?

 

 

electric excitement
synapse in cyberspace
finding some one
connection
unlost at last

 

dropped cage
at the airport
canaries mingle
with rice birds
yellow squabblers

 

 

old flirtations...
water under
the bridge
and now the rivers
dried up

 

broken down carousel
driftwood horses
forever prancing
in overgrown grass
they cant eat

 

 

never hold in a fart
it travels up your spine
contaminates your brain
and gives you
stink ideas

 

 

speeding ticket in my crown vic
the judge didn't laugh
when I told him
it was an old police car
and liked to go fast

 

 

tweakers need
fluorescent lights
to see the synapse
of their mind
as it misfires

global warming
is caused by
flatulent cows
and Texas barbecues

to get into it
