the undulating mountains
a pale orange glow
the swaying of palms
green fronds shape the breeze
wave follows wave
blue waters swirl
and touch the shore
the brilliant blooms
of purple orchid
follow a downpour
a red curtain of fire
as lava fountains stream
on every piece
of dark volcanic glass
a bright yellow sun
