things and creatures with circles—
The clouds and the mountains, the fish and the turtles.
You need seven circles to sketch just one pickle,
You need just one circle to master a nickel.
Excited, I chalked out two waffles, a buckle,
My hat, my bifocals and even a truckle;
A rocket, a cricket, a grape and a grackle…
Which prompted my household to chuckle and cackle:
Where fancy of mine daubed those fishes and turtles,
They found only circles and circles, and circles.
