pondered She
so humble was this maiden
exalted to the ultimate
state of womanhood
Mary
mother of the Word
highly favoured for
the mystery of redemption
I have no relations
with any man
was her meditation
the Holy Spirit would
sew the seed of salvation
Gabriel assured her
Emmanuel
He shall be named
Because of God’s promise
God’s plan fullfilled
